Consulting Services
I am an experienced researcher, educator, writer, practitioner, and strategic thinker in the areas of gender equality, masculinities, gender-based violence prevention and response, sexual and reproductive health and rights, birth and maternal health, and disabilities. For more than 15 years I have specialized in evidence-based solutions for engaging and mobilizing more men and boys to prevent violence, improve health outcomes for all, and advance gender equality and social justice.
I provide expertise to communities, organizations, universities, governments, and businesses to end violence, achieve gender equality, and advance sexual and reproductive justice for all. I have lived and worked in North America and internationally and had the great opportunity to listen to, learn from, and work with people from all over the world.
Why do I do this work? I believe there is a lot of untapped and underutilized good in the world and my work deepens our understanding and advancement of strategic, evidence-informed, innovative, and engaging ways to better leverage this potential so that men, women, and people of all genders can feel liberated from harmful gender norms and work towards a peaceful, just, equal, sustainable, inclusive, and caring world.
