I am an internationally experienced researcher, educator, practitioner, and advocate specializing in evidence-based strategies to advance gender-inclusive equality, prevent violence, and improve health outcomes for all.
My work focuses on enabling positive behavior change and strengthening organizational cultures and systems. With a PhD in Geography and a Master’s in Community Development, I have a proven track record of leading capacity-strengthening initiatives that prevent and respond to violence, promote gender equality, and drive workplace transformation.

Organizational Culture + Systems Transformation
Achieving gender equality and fostering inclusive environments requires more than policies—it demands shifting mindsets, systems, and cultural defaults to make equity and inclusion natural, sustainable, and liberating for everyone. I help organizations, businesses, and school districts build cultures of belonging where all people can live, love, work, and thrive authentically. My work includes developing strategies to increase male allyship in the workplace, addressing how harmful masculine defaults contribute to toxic environments, and embedding inclusion into organizational cultures. Using an asset-based approach and systems change strategies, I translate big-picture goals into practical, actionable transformation

Capacity Building, Training + Facilitation
I provide training and facilitation to equip teams and leaders with the tools and knowledge to advance gender equality, support human rights, prevent violence, and foster inclusivity. My expertise includes gender inclusivity with a specific focus on understanding the realities of trans folks, as well as engaging men and boys as allies in challenging restrictive gender norms. I also offer birth-related training for doulas, childbirth educators, and healthcare providers.

Policy Development + Strategic Planning
I work with organizations and governments to develop policies and strategic frameworks that advance gender equality, inclusivity, violence prevention, and health for all. I specialize in engaging men and boys as stakeholders and co-beneficiaries in gender equality, violence prevention, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. I also design frameworks that protect marginalized communities and foster environments that support LGBTQ+ individuals. My strategic planning process integrates an understanding of how gender norms shape organizational and societal dynamics.

Curriculum Development
I design curriculum for community-based workshops, leadership training programs, health education, gender inclusivity school curricula, and doula/childbirth education training. My curriculum is evidence-based, compassionate, and inclusive, empowering participants to create meaningful change and challenge traditional gender roles in parenting and caregiving.

Research + Knowledge Mobilization
With over 15 years of research experience, I conduct qualitative research, rapid evidence reviews, and data analysis to inform strategies for advancing gender equality and improving health outcomes. I specialize in translating research into practical, accessible resources that empower individuals, organizations, and communities to take meaningful action.

Gender Equality Advocacy + Strategy
I support organizations in developing strategies to address gender inequality, anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, and broader social justice issues. My work focuses on dismantling systems of oppression and creating empowering, inclusive environments for marginalized groups. I also integrate a birthwork perspective to guide organizations in fostering environments that support gender inclusivity, particularly around caregiving and family roles.
